  Inspired by farm-to-table cooking, the Craftsman is a hybrid design combining the features of a chef's knife, curved boning knife, and slicing knife. Forged from a single piece of high-carbon, stain-free steel, its blade is sharpened by WÜSTHOF's proprietary PEtec (Precision Edge Technology), which ensures a 20% sharper blade with twice the edge retention. A wide belly helps for rocking cuts, the clip-point tip facilitates easy maneuvering around joints for de-boning and filleting, and the hollow-edge design allows for smooth, precise carving and slicing.

Particularly useful for peeling and cleaning rounded vegetables and fruit: this small, handy Peeling Knife - also known as a Turning or Tourne Knife - with its short, bird's beak-shaped curved blade, makes it easy to peel produce such as potatoes or apples quickly, preserving the valuable vitamins found directly under the skin. The plain edge of the Peeler / Tourne Knife enables very precise cuts, making it the ideal helper for hollowing out and decorating fruit and vegetables.

Crème

The two-handled knife, a double-handed Cheese Knife for slicing whole wheels or large wedges of cheese: the two handles allow the hands to maintain control while the sharp blade does the rest. A special etching on the blade prevents the cheese from sticking or pulling, so it slides easily through the wedge.

This knife has a stable blade and a sharp edge, ensuring a clean cut: ideal for hard cheeses such as Emmental, Gruyere, Comté and many Alpine cheeses, or for semi-hard cheeses such as Gouda, Edam or Tilsit, while a special etching on the blade prevents cheese slices from sticking to it. For other cheeses we recommend the Cheese Knife for soft cheeses  and, to complete the perfect sandwich, our Bread Roll Knife.

For hard and semi-hard cheeses, with a forked tip: equipped with a sturdy blade and a sharp edge, this knife can handle even the hardest cheese, while the forked tip can be used to serve the sliced cheese. Classic Hard Cheese Knife 14 cm | 5 inch

Ideally suited for soft cheeses such as Brie, Camembert or blue and other edible mould varieties: the narrow, sharp blade glides through the creamy cheese without pulling or crushing it. In addition, the classic holes in the blade of this Cheese Knife ensure that stickier cheese does not cling to it. Since the blade is extremely thin, it is not recommended for use on firmer, semi-hard cheeses; ideally, a hard Cheese Knife should be used for these.
