What are the benefits of a full-tang knife?

A full-tang knife is forged from a single piece of WÜSTHOF steel. While partial-tang cutlery splits where the blade meets the handle, full-tang knives run from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. A full tang offers increased balance, leverage, and precision while protecting your fingers from the blade’s edge.

How are steak knives different from other knives?

Steak knives are a part of your table setting. They’re not usually used for food prep, like chef’s knives or paring knives.

The extra-sharp blades of our steak knives cut perfectly through your favorite meat and vegetable dishes and compliment any tablescape beautifully. Featuring a straight or serrated edge, each steak knife is crafted from a single piece of specially tempered WÜSTHOF steel and precision-honed to stay sharp for longer. The handles are triple riveted and equipped with a full tang for superior safety and durability.

Why are steak knives curved?

The curved edge of our steak knives allows for more even, centralized control, so you can easily cut your steak, chicken, or whole-roasted sweet potatoes without pulling or tearing the fibers.
