7" is the hidden gem no one knows about
"Absolutely in love with this knife. I personally am not a fan of 8" chefs knives as your "everyday knife. " They are too small for the big stuff, and 8" is too big for everyday stuff. I personally think everyone should have a 10" for their largest tasks, and then a 7" utility size for the majority of their prep tasks. I did have the 6" classic ikon chef's knife, but I think it's just a hair too short (if it was 6. 5" instead of 6", I may have been fine). So I got the 7" and am super happy"
Perfect size
"Great knife. It’s the perfect size and weight for me. I always thought the 8 inch was too heavy. I also have the 6 inch but that is too short for some tasks. This is the perfect happy medium for me. And it’s sharp, hope it stays that way!"
