Other Knives
|
|
|---|---|---|
| Material | Premium forged steel engineered for lasting strength and corrosion resistance. | Often stamped or made from standard steel blends that may sacrifice durability or rust resistance. |
| Sharpness | 20% sharper than standard knives, thanks to laser-guided PEtec technology. | Factory-sharpened blades that start strong but dull faster and lack precision honing. |
| Craftsmanship | Hand-finished in Solingen, Germany with 200+ years of expertise and precision in every detail. | Mass-produced or partially outsourced craftsmanship that lacks the same heritage and consistency. |
| Corrosion Resistance | Exceptional rust resistance for a blade that stays beautiful for decades. | Prone to staining or rust if not carefully maintained—especially with frequent kitchen use. |
| Edge Retention | Stays sharper twice as long as ordinary knives, reducing the need to re-sharpen. | Edges wear faster over time, requiring more frequent sharpening and touch-ups. |
| Limited Lifetime Warranty | Limited lifetime warranty – a promise backed by generations of quality. | Lifetime coverage may exist, but with less transparency and variable service depending on the brand. |

All the Wustoff I have
"All the Wustoff I have bought has been for our granddaughter who is studying culinary this year in college. The knives were what she wanted based on her instructor's advice. He has had his set of knives for 30 years. I've had my for 10 years."
Always loved this knife
"I have small hands and it was my go to knife so when parts of the handle came off making it unusable, I was very upset. I remembered that Wustof had a lifetime warranty on their products, looked into it and sent mine in for warranty inspection. I was delighted to find an email several weeks later, stating I had a credit for the purchase of a product. Thank you Wustof for fulfilling your promise to consumers."
Great knife Great respose.
"We absolutely love this knife. We owned one for the past 20 years and the handle actually chipped off of the tang. Wusthof replaced the knife with a voucher for a new one."

Santoku
"Very nice knife to use. Weight is nicely balanced for easy cutting. Feels good in your hand. Also like no more stickers with symbol, but is branded into the handle. Wish all my other knives were like that."

"My favorite knife that I use every day"
Favorite Knife so far!
"Fits well in my small hands and cuts the veggies that I use daily very easily."
Fantastic knife and even better customer service
"I bought this knife for my special someone back in 2021. She's loved it and made great use of it until recently when a hairline fracture appeared on the blade. She reached out to customer service and they took a look at the photos and sent her a replacement knife. Now that is service and how to keep a life long customer! 12/10!"
